Airbag Recall Situation Gets Even Worse for Toyota

Toyota is still feeling the woes of Takata! The Takata airbag recall situation has definitely gotten worse instead of better. Toyota has recalled an additional 30,000 more units worldwide due to their faulty passenger-side Takata airbags. Before this latest recall, Toyota had already recalled 97,000 vehicles due to faulty airbags. The Toyota models which were affected by the first recall included the Toyota Vios, Yaris, Corolla Altis, Camry and RAV4 in which all were said to have faulty passenger-side airbags. The RAV4 was the only one identified to have a faulty driver-side airbag. The specific models affected by the latest recall include the Toyota Vios, Yaris, and Corolla Altis which were manufactured between the dates of April 2007 through December 2008. You may be one of the lucky ones if you have a newer model since Toyota has tentatively confirmed that no models manufactured after 2008 have been affected by this recall.

Hopefully you were not one of the many thousands who were affected by this recall which has been the largest in history but if you happen to have one of these effected models, please take your car in to your nearest Toyota dealership to get it fixed before anyone gets hurt!

We hope that this information was helpful to you and if you happen to know anyone with one of the previously mentioned Toyota models, please pass this important information along to them.
